Therapeutic Approach

My passion in life is to help people and as a psychologist, my goal is to provide effective, collaborative and holistic therapy that results in transformation, growth and healing. My primary treatment modality is Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT). CBT is useful for the treatment of a wide array of mental health issues or to simply manage stressful life situations. It is a collaborative approach where I am able to work with clients to teach them the skills to manage their thoughts and behavior. This in turn helps clients to manage their mood and improve their health and wellness. I genuinely believe the therapeutic relationship is key to effective treatment. It is always a priority to create a safe and trusting relationship with each client where they feel there is a shared ownership in their treatment outcomes.

Every client will know that I care as much about their therapy journey as they do. Every treatment plan is tailored to fit the needs of each client. I integrate various therapeutic approaches such as emotion-focused therapy, client-centered therapy, and mindfulness-centered therapies to customize each client’s treatment.

Clinical Areas of Interest

My experience ranges from pediatric age clients to geriatric populations. I have approximately seven years of formal clinical experience and over ten years of experience in the field of psychology. I work with a wide array of clinical disorders and enjoy working with individuals of all ages, families, and couples to address relationship issues, parenting concerns, behavioral issues, stress and/or anger management, existential issues, adjustment disorders, anxiety and depression symptoms. Anxiety, depression, and stress management are also areas of interest.
